Award for Chapter Excellence (ACE Award)
The ACE Award competition emphasizes individual chapter activities. The ACE Award is presented to the winning chapters at
the Annual Meeting in August. The emphasis on individual activities should allow for even competition between all chapters -- small, medium or large.
The Broward Chapter was
the 1st Place Winner of the 2000-2001 ACE Award for the "Discovering Engineering" program created for E-Week. This program was presented at high schools throughout Broward County as a means to promote the field of engineering to students. This program was spearheaded by Peter Sheridan, P.E.
